Affordable, fun family vacations for February vacation?

This year for winter break, I will not be isolated in the interior while all other channels of my home town boring to go tubing or some fun station. My brother and sister are in college, and is only me, my mom and dad now. We need a place where we can escape and just sit back and relax, but at an affordable price (my father lost his job) and must be within the United States. Somewhere around New York. We want to stay in a hotel and do something fun like sledding and just want out of here! Any ideas?

Well, I do not know. All the fun places I know for sleds and that is near a great mountain. Go find one.
