Vacation San Diego California
Vacation San Diego California
What is your personal opinion in San Diego, California?

For those who live there, how are the people? What night life? What should I do? For those who visited San Diego, did you have a fun time on vacation? Why or why not? The reason why I am asking is because my family and I are considering moving there and I just want to know some of their personal views in San Diego. Thnx:)

I love San Diego. Time is the best in the country, never too cold or too hot and the rain does. It is not dry or too moist. It is very casual and very relaxed here, much more than LA or SF. Older people riding type enterprises shirts, board shorts, and cap toe dress instead of busines or a small team of Banana Republic, we are not pretentious or associated with high fashion as SF and LA. The people are very kind and friendly, contrary to some stereotypes people have of Southern California. No We like Los Angeles and Orange County, as sometimes people try to group in San Diego with the area. Most people here are transplants from somewhere else and has just moved to live here and enjoy the place, so people have a very positive and friendly vibe. You drive around and you will find all the plates from another state. More likely to meet people wherever they are coming. San Diego has a great nightlife. Downtown has tons of great, trendy bars and luxury clubs. Thousands of there party people on weekends. Pacific Beach nightlife is also very good with lots of bars and clubs along the main strip. And it's more relaxed, less expensive and no dress codes. Other areas of SD have great nightlife also like Ocean Beach, Hillcrest, and La Jolla. You can always find something to do during year. There are always people out of doing things, going to the beach, shopping, tons of areas for walking and exploring, sailing or boating, water skiing, diving and almost any outdoor activity you can think people are doing. Always seems to be some event going on any weekend, Del Mar Racetrack during summer .. tons of street fairs throughout the year, the games of the Padres, Chargers games, plus the Tournament of the line, music festivals such as the Street Scene, etc. Also all the usual tourist attractions such as Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Legoland, ect .. Mexico and TJ are days the easy bit travel or you can simply go for an hour or two. The mountains and deserts are really close, 1-2 hrs. Los Angeles and Orange County are very close, Las Vegas is about 4.5 hours. I came here for college six years ago from the Bay area of San Francisco and stayed here after graduation b / c I loved it so much. All the world moving here loves it. It's expensive, but what is worth much much better than SF or LA. not as expensive as SF or LA, and you can live near the beach a reasonable price. It's not as crowded or congested places as well and we're much more laid back. If you decide to move here you love most people.
