have a home business in Los Angeles need a business liscence?

I do my work by phone and computer i sell ads in different Space magazines, and I wondered If you need a business liscense in the city or county or soething well. I also wondered if I could do other services as selling things on eBay cleaning, dry, massage, tow trucks, and vacation planner. Trying to make a living here: S if you do not know the answer may I have been in the right direction? Wow! : P Thanks? Register the name of Soo of business, we have to make customers and abroad that never came close to testing Employees mm me: P? see what I'm thinking? just threw only possibilities for answers, but what about selling on eBay? i currently have a biz ad sales to foreign companies, basically, I am the bridge between the magazines and my clients: D, I just work through the computer and telephone, so far I do not care licensing only for help: D

It is necessary to register a company name, if you are using one. If you are doing telework for an employer or self-employment does not need a license biz. If you have any clients or customers coming to your home, you are on licensing issues, planning and zoning, housing and insurance. You're too vague, lack focus, lack of understanding of any business, and are grasping at straws. If you do not know what they're doing, do not! The way this goes on, you're bound to end up in bankruptcy if they do not end up in jail. To succeed in biz, you have to know what is doing! Concentrate on something, learn all the details of, and build your biz. If you go to sell advertising space, learn all about the business and build it.
