I am looking for recommendations on how to find good discounts on vacation packages, hotels, tickets tickets, etc. for a vacation on a budget.

Right Aloha Island's economy is pretty bad now so you should be able to find some really good deals. When are you and where you come from? I just book a round trip ticket from the west coast of Maui for return of $ 314.00 Hawaiian Airlines (total). I know of a California company called Hawaii More for Less that can put together a package that has some very good rates too. http://www.hawaii4less.com/kauai.htm My biggest recommendation to enjoy your vacation on a budget is to stay in a condo (up outside a hotel) that has a kitchen. It cost a fortune to eat out in Hawaii. In addition, you may want to review the book of entertainment that offers great accommodation discounts and coupons.
