Family Vacation Ideas?

My wife and I have a 1 year old that we take with us. Here are our data. 1. Playa People 2. They will be driving from Toronto, Canada 3. Cool with both destinations in the U.S. and Canada. 4. Would you like a family area that is quiet and clean. Until now I've come up with: 1. Cape Cod, Massachusetts 2. Virginia Beach 3. Maine 4. Halifax, Nova Scotia. Where should we consider, and the beach could be a lake, well, does not have to be the ocean. Look forward to your opinion.

How thick is your wallet? Do you have a budget? I am sure to do. You must be the family, young with limited resources (unless you have rich parents to understand, ha, ha). With gas prices as it is, I'll stay in Ontario – if I were you. Algonquin Park, Lake Superior with quiet areas cabins by the water front are ideal for the family of their size and type. Muskoka, Parrysound are also good alternatives. Does anyone camping or trailer to save on accommodation. Cooking can be kept to a minimum of golf (good to start the day with a homemade Brekky) as they are excellent places to eat nearby in all these places for lunch and dinner. Pssst ……. with the Americans decide not to come to Canada this year due to high gas prices and economy are biting the dust ……. have enough space to get in a nice place. Will be few people and you can even get a bargain price, because tourism is expected to be low by almost 40% this year. They are hurting us, and their best chance.
