Where is a good place to vacation outside of Chicago?
I live in Chicago and want to take a vacation to get out of the city! I wanted to go somewhere in Illinois, not too far away from Chicago. I want it to be pretty rural; hills, trees. Any ideas?
Starved Rock State Park and Mattheissan State Park, near Utica. Surprisingly hilly and lots of great hiking. It’s about two hours away.
