Any advice for first vacation in Cancun?

I leave for the airport at about 3.5 hours. This is my first time there and I go alone. I'll only be there 5 days, but I want to make the most of experience. Any advice on security … Are there parts of the city to avoid, etc? I know how not to get pick pocket or treated with medication.

I do not know of any place in Cancun to avoid …. I live here. Just be smart …. like being anywhere else. Just relax …. enjoy …. enjoy the culture … People here are very friendly and give treatment right. Just be careful with the taxi drivers …. are to be extracted or off. Otherwise …. fun!
